2 Stabbed In Port Jeff Station; Police Seeking Pair Who Fled In Jeep
The incident occurred Wednesday night, police say.

PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY – Two people were stabbed in Port Jefferson Station Wednesday night and police are looking for two men who fled in a Jeep.
According to police, a man was walking on Jayne Boulevard around 9 p.m. when the driver of a passing Jeep slowed down and yelled something at him. The man ran to a nearby friend’s house as the Jeep followed. The driver of the Jeep and a passenger exited the vehicle and attacked him, police said.
Two occupants of the house heard the commotion and came to the man’s aid. During the altercation, the two occupants of the house suffered stab wounds. They were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects fled in the Jeep. No arrests have been made. The investigation is continuing.
