We are looking for People to Donate Frozen Turkeys and Thanksgiving Fixings. LIGHTHOUSE MISSION is Suffolk’s ONLY MOBILE Food Pantry that sends trucks loaded with food out to NINE (9) different locations faithfully EVERY WEEK. At each location we see hundreds of people and in total feed nearly 3000 people each week.
LAST YEAR we handed out more than 1200 turkeys and supplies for a Thanksgiving meal. This Year because of the increase numbers due to the economic downturn we are seeing about 46% more people. We EXPECT to have 2000 Families this year come to us for Turkeys and trimmings.
