"C.H.A.M.P.I.O.N." - Gelinas Junior High School Student uses it in a Sentence

Legislator Kara Hahn, last week, recognized Paul J. Gelinas Junior High School student Sahil Sangwan for earning first place in the Long Island Regional Spelling Bee. The eighth grader was one of only 115 middle school aged students from across Nassau and Suffolk counties to earn the opportunity to compete in this qualifying “bee” held at Hofstra University.

Sangwan will now compete for top honors in the Scripps National Spelling Bee that will be held in Washington, DC on May 28, 2015.
