From Port Jeff Schools:Port Jefferson Middle School student Michael Melikyan’s motivation, hard work and dedication paved his way to earn a student of the month award and recognition by the Rotary Club of Port Jefferson.
A seventh-grader, Michael’s conscientious commitment to the learning process is a primary reason why he was nominated by English teacher Deirdre Filippi and unanimously selected by the entire seventh-grade faculty for the honor. “Michael is truly a wonderful student,” said Filippi. “He is a wonderful addition to our English class, as he contributes to class discussions on a regular basis.”
