Members of the Greater Port Jefferson Historical Society, Philip Schuler and Laura Warren, will be here to discuss the Civil War Letters between brothers William H. Platt and Jesse K. Platt. William H. Platt was a well-known figure in Port Jefferson’s history as the owner of Platt’s Harness Shop located on East Main Street.
