Jillian Colucci Named Suffolk Soccer Player of the Year
The Earl L. Vandermeulen High School senior is headed to Marist College next fall.

Earl L. Vandermeulen High School senior Jillian Colucci has been named as part of Newsday’s All-Long Island Sports Awards as Suffolk County’s Soccer Player of the Year and as a member of the All-Long Island soccer team.
Colucci, who helped lead the varsity soccer team two back-to-back Class C State Championships, has been a member of the varsity team since the seventh grade. She has played the sport since the age of 4.
“I watched my brother play soccer since I was a baby. It was natural to follow in his path,” said Colucci.
