Masked Gunmen Rob Port Jeff Station CVS, Tie Up Employees

PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY – Three men armed with guns robbed a Port Jefferson Station CVS pharmacy early Tuesday, Suffolk Police said.

According to police, the three men, who were wearing ski masks, entered the CVS located at 4331 Nesconset Highway around 3:40 a.m. They restrained at least one employee and stole money and narcotics before fleeing in a vehicle. No one was injured.

Police pursued the fleeing vehicle, a 2016 Mercedes-Benz across Long Island, possibly as far as Queens, before losing track of the car, ABC 7 reported.

The same men may be behind a string of recent pharmacy robberies in Queens, the report says.
