Early Friday evening, Suffolk County Police units responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident, with serious injuries. It occurred between the motorcycle and a Jeep, in front of The Meadow Club, on Route 112, south of Route 347, in Port Jefferson Station. The accident caused the road to be shut down for a while, due to the investigation. The motorcycle operator was transported by ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital.
