National Merit Honors For Port Jefferson Seniors
Five Earl L. Vandermeulen High School students have been named Commended Students in the 64th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY - From Port Jefferson School District: Noted for demonstrating exceptional academic promise, five Earl L. Vandermeulen High School students have been named Commended Students in the 64th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.
Seniors Joshua Gelfond, Ju Eun Ha, Ryan Robertson, David Rotunno and Ava Schully, have been recognized for their outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
The students are among approximately 34,000 high school students nationwide who were awarded the distinction by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
