Police: Port Jeff Neurologist Forcibly Touched Patient
Local doctor is arrested on Wednesday, police say.

A Port jefferson doctor is accused of forcibly touching a patient at his office in February.
Dr. Jacob Mathew, a neurologist, was arrested at his office located at 100 Oakland Avenue on Wednesday, police said.
According to police, Mathew, 58, inappropriately touched a female patient during a treatment visit at his office on an unspecified date in February.

Mathew is charged with forcible touching. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
Police did not not release any further details on the alleged crime.
