Port Jeff Robotics Team Honored

The school board recognized the efforts of the Earl. L. Vandermeulen High School Robotics team during the 2017 season.

At its regular meeting on May 9, the Port Jefferson Board of Education recognized the efforts of the Earl. L. Vandermeulen High School Robotics team during the 2017 build and competition season. The students each received certificates and participated in a presentation in which they showed off their robot to the board of education and audience members. Pictured with the Robotics team is Superintendent of Schools Dr. Paul Casciano (left), Robotics adviser Brian Chalmers (right) and Board of Education Vice President Mark Doyle (second from right, top row).
