Strength for Life's 5th Annual Recognition Dinner on April 24, 2016

Strength for Life will be holding our 5th Annual Recognition Dinner on April 24, 2016 an event to honor our survivors and volunteers.

Strength for Life is a non-profit organization providing FREE exercise classes and wellness retreats to cancer patients/survivors on Long Island. Our immediate purpose is to help cancer patients feel their absolute best, to regain their ‘strength for life’, improve their daily functional activities, quality of life and self-esteem all to enhance the recovery process. The ultimate mission is to educate the medical community on the benefits of adding exercise to the treatment and recovery plan, and this very important mission is being facilitated by our partnership with Stony Brook, Northwell Health System, Mather, Southampton, Brookhaven, Southside and Winthrop Hospitals, North Shore Hematology and Oncology Associates (NSHOA) as well as many Physical Therapy offices.
