Student Participates In 37th Annual Howard Hovey Day Of Tuba
Earl L. Vandermeulen High School band student Sinan Ates was involved in the 37th annual Howard Hovey Day of Tuba.
PORT JEFFERSON, NY - From Port Jefferson School District: Port Jefferson School District’s Earl L. Vandermeulen High School sophomore Sinan Ates joined the top high school tuba players from across Suffolk County to showcase his talents during this year’s Howard Hovey Day of Tuba and Euphonium at Northport High School on Nov. 3.
During this remarkable event sponsored by the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association, Sinan joined more than 200 tuba students on one stage to perform alongside professional musicians including the renowned tuba ensemble, FivE Euphonium Quartet.
