Suffolk Girl, 14, Missing From Coram Residence: Police

The teen, who was staying with her godmother, was last seen early Sunday, police say.

CORAM, NY — A 14-year-old Medford girl went missing from a Coram home earlier this week, the Suffolk County Police Department announced Tuesday.

Keaviana Coleman, who was staying at her godmother’s Coram house, located on Heron Path, was last seen when her godmother went to bed around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, police said. When Coleman's godmother woke up, the teenager was not at the home, police said. Coleman’s mother called the police at 2:20 p.m. Sunday.

Coleman, 14, of Apple Lane, Medford, was described by police as black, 5 feet 2 inches and 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a burgundy jacket, black jeans and black sneakers. Coleman is believed to be with an acquaintance, Ryan Roderka, 20, of Mastic Beach, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Coleman’s whereabouts to call the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552 or 911.
