Video: Bishop Touts Importance of the Long Island Sound

On Friday, Nov. 12 Rep. Tim Bishop D-Southampton came to the to speak at the check presentation for the 5th Annual Long Island Sound Futures Fun, a grant program that supports projects centered around the Long Island Sound. During his speech, Rep. Bishop also spoke at length about two pieces of legislation he hopes will pass in Congress before the end of the current session both of which will provide increased funding to help protect the Sound.
