Woman Killed in Rocky Point Crash
The 29-year-old's car collided with a dump truck that was backing out of a driveway, police say.

A Rocky Point woman was killed after she crashed into a dump truck on Friday morning, according to Suffolk County Police.
Michelle McDonald, 29, was driving a 2009 Mercedes sedan eastbound on Route 25A at 6 a.m. when her car collided with a 2003 MACK dump truck that was backing out of a driveway, according to police.
McDonald was transported to John T. Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson where she was pronounced dead, according to police.

The driver of the truck, Brad Parnell, 43, of South Setauket, was not injured.
Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating the incident.

Officers from the Motor Carrier Safety Section conducted an inspection of the truck and the Mercedes was impounded for a safety check.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
