200 Local Women See 'Fifty Shades of Grey'
MomTime Events Night of Film and Fun in Port Washington.
On Thursday, February 12th, over 200 women attended MomTime Events sold-out private screening of the worldwide phenomenon “Fifty Shades of Grey” at Soundview Cinemas in Port Washington.
Fifty Shades of Grey is the film based upon EL James best selling book trilogy. Cynthia Litman, founder of MomTime Events, regularly produces women and community centric events and says, “this was the ultimate ladies night out to see the sexually evocative Rated R film in a safe and fun environment within our community.”
Cynthia continues, “It was amazing to see the excitement build and swell in the community from just a few Facebook posts about the screening.” While the attendees’ reviews of the film were mixed, the event received two enthusiastic thumbs up. Event-goer Cindy Witkow says, “it was such a memorable night and a BIG happening in Port!!”

Adding spice to the event were sponsors, Sydney’s Sweets, a special event bakery which featured a “Naughty & Nice” cupcake display; Sir Richard’s, a vegan condom company; Pure Romance, a pleasure-based product company, H on the Harbor; Hines Sight Photography; Riley Gems and Lord & Taylor.
The fare for the private reception was generously provided by local businesses including Sara Siskind’s Hands on Healthy, Melissa Halpern’s Holistic Wellness, Aiko Sushi, Farmigo, Tocolo Cantina, H on the Harbor and Bosphorus Café & Grill.

Each guest received a “Pleasure Pack” with exclusive discounts and items provided by all of the above businesses as well as from City Cellar Wine Bar and Grill, Museum of Sex, Deeva Dance and Fitness, Qello Concerts, Foster, Inc., Beauty Fluff Cosmetics and Spa, Massage Envy, European Wax Center, Beach Bum Tanning, Yvette Lingerie, Ecstatic Birth, Crossfit PW and Chocolate Works.
