Patrick Nuzzolese wins North Hempstead Country Club Award

Patrick G. Nuzzolese of Port Washington is the 2011 recipient of the North Hempstead Country Club Award. This Award is given annually to the swimmer who exemplifies the highest level of leadership, sportsmanship and achievement. This year, Patrick, who placed in both the Freestyle and Butterfly events, also swam for the Relay team and finished 1st place in the Long Island Swim League Championship held at Brookville Country Club on August 6, 2011. Additionally, North Hempstead Country Club was the League Dual Meet Champion and the Long Island Swim League Championship Champion. The head Swim Coach is Matt McGrane.

Patrick, a senior at Chaminade High School, Mineola, holds Honor Roll achievements, is the starting Center for the Chaminade Football Team and is Co-President of the Stage Techs Club. He owns Firematic Entertainment, a DJ Business, is the Manager of www.liboatrental.com located in Port Washington and is a volunteer Firefighter in the Port Washington Fire Department Atlantic Hook and Ladder Co. 1.

He is the son of Mary and Gus Nuzzolese and the grandson of Vincent and Rachel Nuzzolese (both deceased) and Kay and Jim Lynch all of Port Washington.
