Celebrate Palm Sunday of the Passion!

Palm Sunday of the Passion begins what's traditionally called "The Great and Holy Week of Our Lord."

At 10am on Sunday, March 29 the cry goes up, “Hosanna!  Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord,” while lifting high branches of palm.  The joyful anticipation of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem to celebrate Passover quickly turns to sorrow of epic proportion as Jesus is betrayed, beaten and brutally crucified by the Roman ground forces occupying 1st century Israel.  We’re invited into the Passion story to see it is our story and to help us  seek and serve a more hope-filled future.

Music Director Federico Teti provides special music by Bach and Scarlatti; the Choir sings, “Antiphonal Hosanna” by G. Alan Smith.  All are invited to participate in the Mass.

Following the liturgy the women of the Grace Guild, a member of the Women of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), sponsors a Food & Bake Sale for the benefit of mission partners.  The church family’s Gift Shop with many Easter items will be open.
