Celebrate Summer Solstice at Sands Point Preserve
Enjoy family yoga and paint the sunset on the longest day of the year on June 20 at the former Guggenheim Estate.

Bring friends and family to celebrate the longest day of the year on Monday, June 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Sands Point Preserve.
The Summer Solstice Celebration will feature family yoga, and the chance to paint the sunset with artists Lynne and Lawrence Chrapliwy.
Bring a picnic, and stay until the sun sets. Tickets are $5 per car for members, and $15 per car for non-members.

The Summer Solstice Celebration is just one of many new programs at the Preserve. Join us on July 10 for Mind, Body & Soul, a family program where health counselor Sara Sisken unlocks the secrets of healthy living, early childhood educator Lisa Cusano introduces ways to increase confidence and body-awareness through yoga, and meditation coach Macha Einbender leads a craft activity that embodies calming techniques.

Sands Point Preserve Conservancy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to protect and preserve the 216-acre waterfront grounds and historic mansions and to provide a range of cultural arts events and educational programs for families and schools in the Phil Dejana Learning Center and Outdoor Classroom.
