Christmas Tree Lighting at Blumenfeld Park
Christmas Tree Lighting in Port Washington, at the Blumenfeld Park at the Landmark on Dec 7th. Live nativity and Pageant begin at 4:30.
Come and join together for the 17th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting to be held this year on Sunday, December 7th at 4:30 pm at the Blumenfeld Park on Main Street in Port Washington. If you have not yet attended this special event, we encourage you to make time for it this year!
As always, a large turnout from the community is expected to enjoy the Choral Music, Live Nativity Scene and Pageant. We plan to raise our voices in song - and we hope to have many voices joining our choruses during the ceremony, singing many traditional carols of the season! Enjoy some complimentary hot drinks and refreshments. Ornaments will be available for decorating and placing on the tree.
The Pageant begins at 4:30, with a Live Nativity and a narration of the Christmas Story. Following the lighting of the Tree, there will be a performance by dancers from Danceworks. The Pageant concludes around 5:30 with the arrival of Santa who has a gift for each girl and boy.

Self-sustaining, the committee is fully responsible for organizing and financing the festivities. A special thank-you goes out to the businesses and individuals who donated their services and their time for our successful raffle fundraiser in November.
