PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Fred Falconer Jr. was recognized for 50 years of service with the Flower Hill Hose Company No. 1, the Town of North Hempstead announced.

Council Member Mariann Dalimonte presented a citation to Falconer Jr. in honor of his dedication to the community and for his milestone anniversary with the company. His milestone was celebrated during an event at the Port Washington Yacht Club on Saturday.
