Girls Lax Stays Undefeated With Win Over Lynbrook
Chrissy Commons had a career-high nine goals to lead the Lady Vikings past the Lynbrook Owls in Conference III girls lacrosse action.
Chrissy Commons had a special day against the Lynbrook Owls on Monday as the sophomore scored a career-high nine goals to lead the Lady Vikings girls lacrosse team (3-0 Conference III, 5-0 overall) to a 15-8 victory at Schreiber High School.
Commons said she was satisfied with her performance as well as her teams, but understands that the Lady Vikings will have to continue to work hard to stay undefeated.
"I was so happy with how we played," Commons said. "Everyone tried so hard, and I wouldn't have changed a thing."

Jackie Froccaro added three goals and her cousin, Alexa, scored two while Ali Feldman had one on the afternoon.
"We played hard, and I'm happy about that," Coach Raquel Piraino said. "Although we let Lynbrook score a few times, the girls regrouped, and finished strong."

The Lady Vikings next test will be a battle of undefeated Conference III teams as they take on Locust Valley (4-0 Conference III, 4-1 overall) on Wednesday, April 14, at Schreiber High School at 4:30 p.m.
