Aquarelle 45, a new waterfront restaurant in Port Washington, NY serving Mediterranean-style cuisine opened in January 2014 by operating partners Bill Handakas and Caesar Figone. Aquarelle 45 offers guests a relaxed waterfront setting with the freshest seafood and regional Mediterranean cuisine.
Aquarelle 45’s striking views of Manhasset Bay and a beachfront-inspired interior create the ideal destination for a casual and picturesque evening. The backdrop of the expansive indoor dining room is the beautiful Brewer Capri Marina. The large space is filled with tables topped with white linen tablecloths, dark wood chairs and a large aqua-blue lobster tank, home to the restaurant’s fresh-caught live lobsters, sits next to the bar. A more casual bar and lounge area offers a place to enjoy bar snacks and cocktails, while watching the big screen TV. A separate dining room with additional tables and an 80-inch television may be used for secluded dining or private parties. In the warmer months, a wrap around outdoor patio provides al fresco dining with the perfect view.
During the winter months, Aquarelle 45 is open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. During the summer months it will be open 7 days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
