North Hempstead Extends Beach Season Through September 20

North Hempstead, NY – North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth announced that the
Town’s beaches – North Hempstead Beach Park and Manorhaven Beach Park - will remain open
through Sunday, September 20.

“This has been a challenging year, and it is important to me and my administration that we extend the beach swimming season,” said Supervisor Bosworth. “Our residents deserve the opportunity to take advantage of the warm weather amidst New York’s reopening.”

Town officials are advising residents that North Hempstead Beach Park will be open, but without
swimming on the following days:
 Tuesday, September 15
 Thursday, September 17
