• Firefighters Race To Port Washington House Fire, 4 People Forced From Home: FD (patch.com) — Port Washington firefighters quickly knocked down a Wednesday afternoon house fire on Pulaski Place that started in a second-floor bathroom and displaced four residents. About 50 firefighters, including mutual aid from Manhasset and Plandome, brought the blaze under control in 15 minutes, with no injuries reported as investigators work to determine the cause.
