Paul D. Schreiber Recognized Among Top High Schools in New York
Another website thinks Port Washington has a pretty great school system.
Paul D. Schreiber Senior High School has once again been named among the top 100 high schools in New York State.
Schreiber is the No. 31 best high school in the state, according to Finder.com.
“I am very proud of the education provided at Schreiber and believe that the school is a wonderful representation of the community,” said Schreiber Senior High School Principal Ira Pernick. “Great schools and great communities go hand in hand.”

Finder used Niche.com rankings and CoreLogic financial information to create their rankings.
Niche rankings factored in the median home sale values of each city as of June 2015, along with math and reading proficiency scores and reviews from students and other school community members that touched on academics, extracurricular programs and the overall school climate.
CoreLogic ranked the top 100 schools in ascending order by lowest home price.
Finder combined the median home price rank and the Niche rankings to produce their own list.
