U.S. News Ranks Schreiber High School Among Best Schools in New York
Over 400 New York high schools were recently ranked.

The verdict is out on the top high schools in New York State after U.S. News & World Report released their rankings Tuesday.
Several schools on Long Island made the list, including Paul D. Schreiber High School.
The latest rankings put the school at No. 38 in New York State.

This makes Schreiber the eighth best high school on Long Island, according to the rankings.
Rankings are based on student to teacher ratios, college readiness with regard to Advanced Placement exam scores, and proficiency in mathematics and English.

Of the 66 percent of Schreiber students who take AP exams, 59 percent of them pass, according to the report. About 90 percent of students are proficient in math and 92 percent are proficient in English.
Schreiber has a 13:1 student to teacher ratio.
There were 439 New York high schools that made the rankings.
