Police: Man Wrestles Attempted Burglar out of Glen Cove Home
The unwanted houseguest encountered a teenage girl in the home before the homeowner's boyfriend stepped in, police said.

A man’s attempted burglary on a Glen Cove home was thwarted when the homeowner’s boyfriend grabbed the man and forced him out of the house Tuesday night.
According to police, Robert S. Ahmed, of the Bronx, illegally entered the Highland Road home through an unlocked door and encountered a 13-year-old girl who lived in the home.
The homeowner’s boyfriend grabbed the man and wrestled him out of the house after Ahmed attempted to get into the girl’s room, police said.
