Port Library Hosts Citi Field Trip for Kids, Grandparents
They enjoyed private suites, endless food and a special visit by Mr. Met.
Seventy-two kids, parents and grandparents were taken out to a ballgame at Citi Field courtesy of a Port Washington Public Library event on July 31.
The baseball fans traveled on a bus from the library to enjoy a Mets game complete with private suites, endless food and a special visit by Mr. Met.
The trip, which was free and open to the public, served as a way to give local kids and grandparents a quality bonding experience.

The day was made possible thanks to the New York Mets and a donation from the Tepper Intergenerational Fund of the Port Washington Library Foundation.
