Port Police Organize National Night Out Event

On Tuesday, August 2 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Police Departments and their respective communities will conduct “National Night Out” events in coordination with other local government agencies, community leaders, and local businesses.

This year’s Port Washington National Night Out will take place in Alvan Petrus Park, which is located at 1390 Port Washington Boulevard. The event will feature music, refreshments, giveaways, local vendors, educational resources, and more.

“National Night Out is a fantastic event that brings the entire community, partners, and law enforcement together for fun and community building,” Port Washington Police Chief Robert Del Muro said. “Our officers and other staff also enjoy meeting and interacting with residents to get to know one another better.”
