Mary Callahan, Acting Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent for Business, has made a statement addressing the issue at Weber:
Over the past several days, the Port Washington School District administered the English language arts assessments for students in grades 3-8. On the first day of testing, middle school administrators noticed that the New York State Education Department had not provided enough copies of the seventh-grade test to the district. The district immediately contacted BOCES, who provided the district with the needed copies of the state assessment. The packages were not allowed to be opened in advance, thus causing a delay of the administration of the assessment. Per New York State regulations, the assessment can be given at any 90-minute period of time during the school day; therefore the assessment was administered in the afternoon rather than in the morning.

Other than this issue that was resolved quickly, the administration of the assessments over the past few days went smoothly.
