Port Washington Looks to Continue Memorial Day Parade Tradition
Generous donations will allow the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce to hand out thousands of American flags to parade goers.

A 34-year Memorial Day tradition in Port Washington hopes to stay around for many years to come.
The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce will be handing out thousands of American flags at the Memorial Day Parade, which will be held Monday, May 30.
Each year, the Chamber looks to their members and friends for donations to continue this tradition.

Anyone interested in donating can make their check payable to the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce and send it to:

The flags will be handed to children, senior citizens and anyone who attends the parade.
Parade route:
The parade will start on Port Washington Boulevard and will continue down Main Street to the John Philip Sousa Memorial Bandshell in Sunset Park.
