Port Washington Native Named to Trump's Transition Team
Anthony Scaramucci is reportedly a top pick for Treasury.

Port Washington native Anthony Scaramucci is among 16 leaders selected to join the Presidential Transition Team Executive Committee, President-elect Donald Trump announced Friday, Nov. 11.
Scaramucci, 52, is a businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the co-managing partner of SkyBridge Capital, author of “Hopping Over the Rabbit Hole,” host of "Wall Street Week" and a Fox News contributor.
Upon hearing the news, Scaramucci said on his Facebook page that he is “honored to serve on President-elect Donald J. Trump's Presidential Transition Team Executive Committee.”

Scaramucci, a top fundraiser on multiple former Republican presidential campaigns, signed on to join Donald Trump's nascent national finance committee in August, the Washington Post reported.
He served as Trump’s campaign finance chief and is now a top candidate to lead Treasury, according to Bloomberg.

Trump said he chose the most highly qualified group of leaders who will be able to implement changes in Washington, D.C.
“Together, we will begin the urgent task of rebuilding this nation - specifically jobs, security and opportunity,” the president-elect said in a statement on his transition website. “This team is going to get to work immediately to Make America Great Again.”
