Port Washington Toy and Food Drive Looks to 'Make A Child Smile'

Toys and food will be collected for children in Port Washington starting Friday.

Port Washington residents and businesses are invited to participate in the community’s seventeenth annual “Make A Child Smile” food drive.

The donations of nonperishable food and new, unwrapped toys will go towards children who live in the Port community.

“The joy you receive from knowing your donation can ‘make a child smile’ will make your own holidays so much more meaningful and memorable,” said Police District Liaison Detective Anthony Guzzello, who created this local tradition.
