Pushing For Easier Voting For the Disabled.
Kevin Greenstein has a strong interest in public service and policy and uses those interests to speak up for people with disabilities.

Kevin, a graduate of Schreiber High School and resident of Port Washington, met with New York State Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel and Former Speaker Sheldon Silver to extend the use of the lever voting machines. Kevin explained the difficulties of filling in the bubbles for people with disabilities.
When Kevin first raised concern the response was to have his father fill in the bubbles for him. This was unsatisfactory for Kevin because it denied him the right of privacy in filling out a ballot. Kevin has proudly never missed an election vote and, thanks to his hard work, many others will have the opportunity to vote as well. Kevin was able to help pass three laws extending the use of lever voting machines in 2011, 2012, and 2014.
On August 1, Kevin was honored by the Nassau County Legislature for his perseverance in helping to get these laws passed. "Thank you for honoring my efforts in keeping the lever machines. My goal has been to allow people with disabilities access to voting and to encourage them to vote,” Kevin said to Nassau County Legislature during his speech as he was presented with a citation by Nassau County Legislator Delia DeRiggi-Whitton, who . I want to thank the former Speaker of the Assembly, my Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel, and State Senator Jack Martins. I also want to thank the Board of Elections for all of their hard work in supporting my efforts. I encourage everyone to vote on November 8th"
