Spring Celebration Set for April 3 at Sands Point Preserve
Family fun to include square dancing, seed-plantings, live bird presentation, crafts and more.

Celebrate spring at Sands Point Preserve on Sunday, April 3, with a fun-filled afternoon for the entire family, from 1-4 p.m.
Enjoy family square dancing with Jim Emory. Learn about birds of prey with live presentations from Volunteers for Wildlife. Plant a take-home pizza herb garden with the Long Island Sierra Club. Tap into your inner-artist in the much-awaited spring crafts room. And explore the great outdoors, weather permitting, for family nature hikes and scavenger hunts.
Admission for the Spring Celebration is $20 per car, or $10 with the membership pass.

Friends of the Sands Point Preserve is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to protect and preserve the 216-acre waterfront grounds and historic mansions and to provide a range of cultural arts events and educational programs for families and schools in the Phil Dejana Learning Center and Outdoor Classroom.
