“To consistently receive this nationwide recognition in cardiology and heart surgery as well as non-cardiac specialties is a testament to our ongoing mission of providing excellence in patient care,” says Ruth Hennessey, EVP & Chief Administrative Officer of St. Francis Hospital, in a statement.
The rankings recognized St. Francis as high performing regionally in Neurology and Neurosurgery, Pulmonology, and Urology.
Less than 3 percent of the nearly 5,000 hospitals that were analyzed for Best Hospitals 2015-16 earned national ranking in one specialty.
“Congratulations to the physicians, nurses, and staff at St. Francis for attaining this outstanding achievement for nearly a decade,” Hennessey said.
