Town Residential Drop-Off Open Every Other Week
The modified schedule will keep residents and staff safe.

In continuing an important resource for the community, North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board remind residents that the Sunday Residential Drop-Off at the North Hempstead transfer station in Port Washington will be continuing through October with a modified schedule.

The Sunday Residential Drop-Off is currently open every other Sunday through October 18. Accepted items will include recyclables, e-waste, yard waste, household DIY project waste and rubbish (excluding curbside solid waste).
No commercial waste will be accepted.All residents will be asked to show a valid driver’s license to ensure they reside in the North Hempstead.
