Voter's Guide: Port Washington School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

Port Washington residents will vote on the school district’s $146,639,452 proposed budget for the 2016-17 school year on Tuesday, May 17.
The proposal calls for an increase of $1,720,060 in spending over the current year and carries a 0.80 percent tax levy increase, which is within the state’s tax cap.

Four candidates are running for three trustee seats on the Port Washington Board of Education. Candidates include:
- Emily Beys
- Christine Nadolne
- David Sattinger
- Karen Sloan

Residents can vote at Carrie Palmer Weber Middle School, located at 52 Campus Drive. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
