This Weekend: Halloween Events at The Sands Point Preserve
Both scary AND family-friendly events this weekend! Celebrate Halloween with us!
The Sands Point Preserve invites you to two special Halloween events this weekend!
For brave folks, the Hempstead House of Horrors is having its final 3 nights - Oct 28-30 - from 6 - 10 pm. Explore two floors of the 50,000-square-foot mansion, PLUS the subterranean dungeon... if you dare! Terrifying ghosts and creatures may be lurking anywhere. Explore the "Den of Despair" and the "Library of Lost Souls," among many other themed rooms. Tickets are $25 a person for members; $30 a person for non members -- including parking. Tickets may be purchased online, or pay in cash and buy at the door.
Families with small children will love our Family Halloween Party, on Oct 30th from 1-4 pm. The Phil Dejana Learning Center will be filled with plush woodland animals celebrating Halloween. Fairy cottages and sparkling lights complete the scene. Many crafts and projects will be offered in Castle Gould's Great Hall, as well as other fun activities for children. Kids are welcome to come in costume or as themselves. Entry for members is $10 per car, non-members $20 per car - includes parking. Payments are received at the Gate House. Rain? No problem - most of our activities are indoors.
