2 People Shot Outside State Sen. Jesse Hamilton's Office: Cops
A 16-year-old boy and 31-year-old man were shot and a stray bullet struck the state senator's office wall.

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN -- Gunfire erupted outside state Sen. Jesse Hamilton's office and left a teenager and another man with bullet wounds in their backs, police said.
The 16-year-old and 31-year-old victims were shot on the corner of Rogers Avenue and Crown at about 7:30 p.m., police said.
A stray bullet hit the wall next to the front door of Hamilton's campaign office during the shooting, the state senator said in a video statement.

"If someone was coming out of my campaign office at night they would have gotten shot," Hamilton said, standing in the doorway and pointing to the bullet hole. "That's disturbing to me."
"I'm tired of seeing mothers crying for their children being shot."

Emergency responders rushed the 16-year-old to Kings County Hospital and the 31-year-old to Lutheran Hospital, police said.
No arrests had been made as of Friday morning, according to police.
