5-Year-Old Girl Sexually Abused In Crown Heights Basement: Cops
Abraham Samotin was arrested for assaulting a little girl in a Crown Heights basement stairwell earlier this month, said police.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A man who dragged a five-year-old girl into a Crown Heights basement and sexually abused her has been arrested, police said.
Abraham Samotin, 26, was charged with taking the little girl from her Crown Heights home and sexually assaulting her in an outdoor basement stairwell on May 16, said police.
The five-year-old was later taken to a nearby hospital — where she was treated and released in stable condition — and Samotin was arrested outside his Troy Avenue home a day after the attack, police said.

Samotin was arraigned on multiple sex abuse charges in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Friday and held on a $150,000 bail which he was unable to post, court records show.
The Crown Heights man has a long rap sheet with charges that include menacing, harassment, assault and the criminal trespass of a school, according to court records.
