The Five Boro Story Project, Bridget Bartolini
The Five Boro Story Project, run by artist Bridget Bartolini, produces community events to showcase stories and art inspired by the neighborhoods of New York City. These participatory events connect New Yorkers to our neighborhoods and our neighbors through stories, song, poetry, dance, film, and discussion about the places where we live. The Five Boro Story Project aims to strengthen community connections, preserve local history, challenge negative perceptions of the outer boroughs, and celebrate the diverse neighborhoods of NYC.

9pm- The Tumble
For fans of: Mandolin Orange, Gillian Welch, The Stanley Brothers, Bill Monroe

The Tumble is a roll around with the high and lonesome wail or the groove of a blues. We dig what is old. We make the new songs sound like we turned them up from the red dirt ground or the attic. This band strikes fine chords in the midst of clattering songs and pulls out sweetness from the minor keys.

11pm- Seafarers Unite
Genre: Modern folk
For fans of: Fleet Foxes, The Lumineers, Bob Dylan

Seafarers Unite is a collection of amateur and professional musicians based in NYC, but hailing from far and wide. They perform a brand of modern folk, weaving tales of city life old and new, and with nautical themes a-plenty. In another life, all would surely have been captains, boatswains or longshoremen.
