Art Off the Wall: The Rise of Sneaker Culture at the Brooklyn Museum. Thursday 7/16. 6:30-9:30pm

Our Thursday evening series continues with programs inspired by the exhibition The Rise of Sneaker Culture.

6:30-9:30 pm. Heeling Soles Sneaker Drive. Bring your gently worn items or new sneakers.

6:30-8pm. Dance Performance. Join us n the Plaza and Rubin Pavilion for live break dancing.

7-8pm. Discussion: ”Sole Sister Revolution”. Step into a conversation honoring women sneaker collectors, designers, and media makers hosted by Obsessive Sneaker Disorder’s Sean Williams.

7:30-9:30pm. Dance Party with I Love Vinyl. Come to the Rubin Pavilion for an all vinyl dance party inspired by the evolution of the sneaker, featuring classics from throughout the decades played by DJ collective I Love Vinyl.
