My high school science project
Was called a killer coup
And made me locally famous,
Someone everyone knew.
At militia camp in Montana
I tinkered with it more,
Developing its potential
For peace and hunting and war.
Since then I've downsized it
To fit into a valise
And cut the weight so much,
It's handy for police.
What's more it offers protection
To any dad or mom
Preserving home and children,
My personal A bomb.
So now, would you believe,
The gun-restriction nuts
Are aiming at my device,
A case of missing guts.
Say, where's the Constitution,
Where's patriotism's lights.
Whatever happened to my
Second Amendment rights?
