Verse Responder: Sensitive Bulldog

When you swish upon a star

Leon Freilich, Neighbor

Because he loved the mirror,
I named my dog Narcissus,
Which pleased my seven children
 And more than delighted the missus.

But bulldogs brim over with pride.
And secretly are prissy
So we had to change his name
When other dogs called him Narcissy.
