Brooklyn Woman Found Dead In Her Closet, Police Say

Emergency responders found Kyinar Thein, 58, dead in her Prospect-Lefferts Gardens home Saturday morning, according to police.

PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — A local woman was found dead in her closet this weekend, according to police and reports.

Kyinar Thein, 58, was discovered wrapped in a sheet inside her home at 260 Lenox Road at about 6:45 a.m. Saturday, reported police and the New York Post.

Thein’s relatives had called 911 to request a wellness check because they hadn’t been able to reach her, according to the Post.

The Medical Examiner’s office has yet to determine the cause of death.
