Brooklyn Museum Temporarily Closes Doors
The closure is the latest in a spate of city-wide shutdowns and cancelations related to the coronavirus.

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Add Brooklyn Museum to the long list of city institutions temporarily shuttered to stop the spread of coronavirus.
Museum officials Friday announced the closure will take effect that day. All programs will be postponed or canceled until further notice, they wrote in a release.
"The Museum considers the safety and well-being of its visitors and team its top priority," the release stated. "As such, the Museum has been taking a series of proactive measures over the past few weeks, including implementing enhanced cleaning procedures, eliminating staff travel, working remotely, and much more."
