Brooklyn Veterinarian Goes Curbside For Coronavirus: Report
All Creatures Veterinary Hospital asks for doggo drop offs and other hand offs to happen on the sidewalk to help "flatten the curve."
PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A Prospect Heights veterinarian is asking his customers to please curb their dogs. Not for clean sidewalks — although that's nice — but to help stop the new coronavirus from spreading.
All Creatures Veterinary Hospital started a curbside service last week, News12 first reported. Dog owners, cat fanciers and pet possessors of all stripes are asked to first discuss their animal's needs over the phone and then drop off the pooch or feline outside with a staff member.
It's all a precaution to stop COVID-19 from spreading among the human animals, according to All Creatures' website.

The animal hospital remains only and will provide essential care to pets, according to the report.
The new protocol falls in line with other social distancing measures implemented by businesses and city and state officials, such as New York's current "stay-at-home" order.
